Unrequited love was considered either noble or obsessive, with no in-between. Sebastian considered this unfair. He couldn’t control loving Blaine, and it wasn’t like he could fall out of love on a whim. He wasn’t built that way, surprisingly. Hell, it wasn’t his intention to fall in love in the first place. He had been happy playing the field, but because that was what everyone remembered about him, his damned unrequited love for Blaine was considered creepy. If this were a Jane Austin novel, he would be considered noble in his unwavering support, but reality bites instead. It was infuriating.
