Arthur still winced when sharp fangs pierced his flesh; no matter how hard he tried to relax, that little moment always stung.

Osric would apologize, when he'd finished. He always did, even though Arthur had offered himself yet again.

Combing his fingers through Osric's dark hair, Arthur closed his eyes. Osric's mouth felt good, just above his collarbone. Maybe it felt a little too good.

But Arthur would never deny his dear dark knight what he could give.

A little blood was nothing in exchange for all that Osric was.

And Osric was so very much.

Arthur knew that well.
