“You know, you’re really taking this tough guy thing too far,” Sam points out after a week of Bucky hiding that he’s sick.

Bucky crosses his arms. “I’m fine. I don’t need to be here.”

“Yeah, right.” Clint rolls his eyes. “You’re so fine, you’ve been coughing like a 90-year-old chain smoker.”

“Didn’t know you were a fan of vintage lungs,” Sam teases.

Bucky glares at them. “You’re lucky I’m too tired to fight you right now.”

“You’ve been tired for days.” Clint’s voice sounds pitiful. “Just take the medicine, please.”

“And I’ll make you some tea at home, deal?”
