Tristan's smile was as bright as the setting sun as they sat on the roof. In that moment, Ren wondered if this is how it felt for religious people when they gazed upon their god.
"Hey, Ren?," Tristan spoke up, breaking Ren from his trance. "Would it be weird if I said...I really felt a connection with you?"
"Not weird in the slightest. I-If anything, I feel the same," Ren stammered. "I've felt that way for a long time--s-since I met you, I mean."
"Is that so?"
Ren doesn't resist as Tristan leans in for the first kiss of many.
