Outside, there was a gentle breeze barely rustling through the leaves of the nearest trees, no louder than the familiar sounds of dragon wings and the practice yard in the distance.
With practiced fingers, Vixel pulled Ieyasu's hair free from its ties and let it cascade like a muted waterfall down over fine fabric. His fingers were always a bit rough against it, discordant and scratching, though Ieyasu never seemed to mind.
Ieyasu's hands were much the same, after all, those of a swordsman-
-as they played over the buttons of Vixel's shirt, promising a long and delightful afternoon together.
