Jewel watched her current protégé with a tiny part of her awareness, as this was the first real test of her ability under fire.
For all of Icy Breeze's doubts on her existence, falling on the side of 'just a construct' despite her empathy and sentience, Jewel was all but certain Junction City had a potent new booster in the elemental girl.
She was glad of her mass when Icy managed to put down inch thick ice under their opponents, and the cleats for their teammates, as the gang was slipping all over in moments.
Jewel would praise her later.
