Dean had learned early not to show any weakness; his father had told him often enough that he was the big brother and responsible for Sam's safeness.
Too many losses, their father and Bobby, Ellen, Kevin, Charlie, and he never knew who would be the next.
Dean never showed any weakness, but at night he cried in his dream, cried about Sam. His brother, his confidant, the only one who let him move on even in the darkest times.
Unbearable the thought that one day he would have to let him go, knowing that this time there was no way back.
