"Give it to me!" Adam ordered. "You've taken everything off it and are just slobbering all over the carpet."

The werewolf lifted his head, the ox bone firmly clamped between its jaws.

"Anyway, we're going out now."

The werewolf bounced up, but still wouldn't relinquish the bone.

"This is ridiculous," Adam moaned. "He was given it two days' ago and he's refused to leave it since, despite all my attempts."

"You could say it's a bone of contention," Malcolm remarked.

The werewolf wagged his tail, clearly enjoying the pun.

"Okay, I give up," Adam said. "At least he'll transform tonight."
