"Welllll, it's not exactly a work of art like we saw in the cooking show, butttt I can guarantee it'll definitely be edible!"
Despite the nervous presentation, Ren could see the sparkle of accomplishment in Nagisa's eyes. He teased a "surprise" for Ren the entire day, with Ren willingly choosing to stay in the dark about Nagisa's plan, just to see what his boyfriend would come up with.
Nagisa was probably self-conscious about the broccoli and chicken being haphazardly cut, but Ren couldn't have been more proud of the delicious meal in front of him.
"Thank you, Nagi. It's perfect."
