"Hey, happy birthday."
Clint tossed the turquoise box underhand through the doorway, not coming in. It landed on Natasha's desk -- well, the desk she was currently using -- right side up. She stopped typing, hands still on the keyboard.
"I don't have a birthday," she said, overly patiently. "That date was made up."
Clint just grinned at her. "Sure it is. Been a year."
She put one finger out and slid it under the knot in the very center of the bow. It occurred to her nobody had given her a gift before, just for herself.
"....Help me put it on?"
