"Does anyone lay claim to this object?" Harry asked, holding up a punctured football.
The werewolf looked up briefly and pulled a face before going back to sleep.
"I was sure it was his," Harry said.
"His ball is red and white," Adam said, "not black and white. And also still intact."
"Actually," Malcolm said. "It's mine. I'm afraid I shoved it under your desk as I didn't want our American visitor to see it."
"Really?"
"I think, when I cut it open, I shall find something of interest inside."
Harry dropped the ball on Malcolm's desk with a grimace.
