Don't go through that dark alleyway
I tell you, do not dare
Within its precincts do not stray
A vampire's lurking there

And he will make sure that you stay
Until he's drained each drop
Of blood; he'll take it all away
And, once you're dead, he'll stop

Each of these words that I do say
Are not meant said in fun
Nor intended in sense of play
I'm telling you, please run

So flee from here, my friend, I pray
Before it is too late
Or with your life you will soon pay
Yes, death shall be your fate
