Damn; the cauldron is bubbling over, again. It's inconvenient, because it risks putting out the fire. But that's the only way to make sure that all of the flesh separates from the bones. As it is, it was difficult enough to drain away all the blood.

And then there's the trouble I'll have in disposing of the rest of the remains. A necessary evil, though; it simply can't be helped. I've been lucky, so far, so I can only hope that my luck holds out. At least he didn't scream...

Soon, I'll have another skull to add to my collection.
