Finding the body of a woman hidden under a tree in the garden of your new home comes as a shock.  Then come the questions: what secrets were hidden with her?  Who was she, and what had she done to be killed?  Who kept the knowledge of her death hidden within their hearts, unsuspected by anyone for decades?

For the police the whole story would slowly be revealed, as the previous inhabitants of the house were traced, and it became apparent that one had disappeared, not voluntarily, as had been assumed at the time, but at the hand of another.
