"You wear even less than me, how are you not freezing?" Delitia said between chattering teeth.
Tatloch yawned and stretched, "I am kept warm by the sacrificed souls of thousands of comely young men, of course!"
She laughed at Delitia's horrified look, "Hey, I was joking! I keep warm by staying close to Ma'afa."
She lay out one elegant hand and the huge panther wandered up and nuzzled her gently. When she scritched the gigantic cat behind one ear, he let out a rumbling purr.
"He's amazingly tame!"
"Oh, he's a big kitten really. Ma'afa, let her pet you too!"
