For Nurse Lucille Anderson her faith is very important.  She doesn’t stand on street corners shouting about it, but if a patient asks her she will answer truthfully.  She finds strength and comfort when sharing with others on a Sunday, especially when the week has been hard.  Her faith helped her when she first came to England to train as a midwife, and it reminds her why she’s there when she’s coping with the cold and, sometimes, the prejudice she faces.  But it’s more than just an extra, since for Lucille her faith is quite simply a part of her.
