My belt I have just lost
I dare not count the cost
In vain I’ve for them sought
Everywhere that I’ve thought
Yet they elude me still
This gives me not a thrill
I am stuck in panic mode
In frustration’s motherlode
I now stand zero chance
Of holding up my pants
Oh, stop laughing at me, please
Or else you’ll start to wheeze
Please help me in my dire plight
Put my poor, dear belt in sight
I need that thing right now
Or else I don’t know how
To save my poor dignity
I’m asking you, help me
