Lucas collapsed onto the sofa and groaned, "Don't expect me to move for at least the next half hour. I am absolutely exhausted!"
Adam joined him. "Me too. I've dumped the carrier bag in the hallway. Some of the contents may have fallen out, but they can stay where they are."
Lucas grunted in acknowledgement. Then he sat up. "There's a chocolate sponge at the bottom of the bag, with whipped cream in the middle. That can't stay on the floor."
"I thought you were too exhausted to move!"
"Not when chocolate sponge cake is involved. Do you want some?"
