Notes: Character Death (-ish), in-canon game mechanics, headcanon/speculation, fandom roulette
Waking up in the cemetery again, next to his own shattered gravestone, carrying only what had been in his hands at the time of death, he realised how fragile his existence was. The resurrection only worked while he had gold - presumably old Charon was pulling strings for him with the head office - and he was all out of gold. Sometimes food didn't appear and sometimes he got his armour melted and couldn't find a replacement for five floors and sometimes there was only scrolls but he never felt as vulnerable as he did without any cash on him.
