"People claim," explained Laurentius, "That the Chosen One isn't brave because he can't permanently go Hollow - coming back from death every time means there's no personal risk to him."
"It doesn't. It just makes him capable of his task at all. He still feels the pain of Hollowing every time, then the worse pain of coming back. He gets lost and confused and unable to proceed but there's no way for him to surrender his will, to escape his responsibility. Unless his mind snaps first. He's strong-willed, though."
"He could still walk away, see.
He never does.
That's bravery."
