Notes: Scottie bumps into her old teacher at the grocery store, unprepared for the past to meet her.

Blue doesn't know what to do when his sister Scottie calls him from the grocery store, her voice thundering in an uncharacteristic panic. The phone shakes in his hands.

"She's here! I-I don't know what to do. I'm not ready to see her again, not right now, fuck."

"Who are you speaking of?" asks Blue in his comforting, familiar awkward turn of phrase, like a robot in human skin. If Scottie were in a better state, she'd laugh at his formality.

As is, she sucks in a harsh breath, heartbeat ricocheting inside her ribcage, and answers:

"Fun story. Remember Thompson?"
